Sunflour Baking Company has been baking cakes from scratch in Charlotte since 2009. Every cake that leaves our case starts the same way: real ingredients, small batches, no mixes, no shortcuts. We have five Charlotte locations and a nationwide shipping operation for our cake jars. Custom whole cakes are made to order at our shops.

Cake Jars — Order Online and Ship Nationwide
Our cake jars are two cupcakes packed into a mason jar with a spoon, sealed and shipped fresh. Every flavor we make in our Charlotte shops is available as a jar. They travel well, arrive looking exactly like they should, and stay fresh for up to seven days at room temperature.

Custom Cakes for Special Events
We make custom cakes for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, showers, and any occasion that calls for a real cake centerpiece. Custom orders are placed through our locations directly. The earlier you reach out, the more options we can offer on design and decoration.
