Shipping Policy

Sunflour ships select baked goods to all 50 states. Our nationwide shipping covers cake jars, cookies, and specialty items from our online shop. Everything is packaged to arrive fresh and intact.

How Shipping Works

  • Orders placed by 12 noon EST ship the following business day.
  • We ship Monday through Friday only. No Saturday, Sunday, or holiday shipments.
  • We ship via USPS or UPS Priority. Delivery takes 2 to 5 business days once shipped.
  • Tracking numbers are emailed to the address you provide at checkout.
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order and destination.

Freshness and Packaging

Our baked goods are packaged the day they ship. Cake jars and most pastry items stay fresh for up to seven days at room temperature. Refrigeration can extend this, but most items are best eaten at room temperature or briefly warmed.

We use insulated packaging for temperature-sensitive items to protect them during transit. Once your package leaves our hands, we cannot control transit conditions, but we pack everything to give it the best chance of arriving exactly as it left our kitchen.

If Something Goes Wrong

If your order arrives damaged or is not what you expected, email us at shipping@sunflourbakingcompany.com. We handle all requests promptly. Include a photo of the item and your order number and we will make it right.

We are not responsible for delays caused by USPS or UPS, errors in the shipping address you provide, or packages reported lost or stolen after confirmed delivery. If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate the package, contact your carrier directly and then reach out to us.

Shipping to a Gift Recipient

All of our orders ship without pricing in the box. If you are sending a gift, add a note at checkout and we will include it with the order. For gift orders, double-check the shipping address carefully — we cannot reroute a package once it is in transit.

Which products ship?

Our cake jars, cookie gifts, and select specialty items ship nationwide. Not everything in our shops is available for shipping. Browse our online shop for the current shipping selection.

Can I choose a delivery date?

We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. Orders ship the business day after you place them (assuming you order before 12 noon EST) and arrive within 2 to 5 business days via USPS or UPS Priority. If you need an order to arrive by a specific date, place it with enough lead time to account for transit.

Do you ship internationally?

No. We ship within the United States only at this time.

What if I need to change my shipping address after ordering?

Email shipping@sunflourbakingcompany.com as soon as possible. We can update your address if the order has not yet shipped. Once it is with the carrier, we cannot make changes.
