A Real Bakery You Can Order From Online

Most of what turns up when you search for an online bakery is a fulfilment warehouse with a nice logo. We are five actual bakeries in Charlotte, North Carolina, with ovens running before dawn. Everything we ship is the same thing we put in the case for the people who walk through our doors that morning.

Scratch baking is the whole identity here. No mixes, no shortcuts, nothing pre-made. That is also why our shipping list is shorter than some: we only send the things that travel well enough to arrive the way they left.

Eating Vegan or Gluten Free

Classic Chocolate Chip (VGF) is both vegan and gluten free and available in every Pastry Pouch, so you can send someone a gift they can actually eat. Our gluten free and vegan pages cover the rest of what we make.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes, to all 50 states. Everything on this page is baked in our Charlotte kitchens and shipped from here.

How much does shipping cost?

Every Pastry Pouch ships free anywhere in the US. Everything else ships at calculated carrier rates, which you will see at checkout before you pay. See our shipping policy for the details.

How do you keep baked goods fresh in transit?

Orders go out in bakery boxes with a freshness seal and void fill so nothing shifts around, and we use insulated packaging where the contents call for it. Tracking is emailed when your order ships.

How long will things stay fresh once they arrive?

Cookies stay fresh up to seven days at room temperature. Cake jars keep for about ten days refrigerated and can go in the freezer for up to six months. We bake without artificial preservatives, so those windows reflect real ingredients.

Can I send to more than one address?

Yes. For a handful of addresses, place separate orders. For a client list or a company-wide send, start on our corporate gifting page and get in touch before you order so we can plan bake time.

Do you have vegan or gluten free options that ship?

Yes. Classic Chocolate Chip (VGF) is vegan and gluten free and can be chosen in any Pastry Pouch. If you are ordering for a specific dietary need, ask us and we will tell you exactly how each item is made.
